Class Notebook is linked to OneNote. It is an extremely useful program; teachers can use it for assessment purposes (taking anecdotal notes of students' progress), or even using it to store students' (or your own) passwords! For every new website that students sign up for (i.e., Powtoons, Flipsnack, Mathletics, etc.), teachers can help them into making it a routine: students create their account, then immediately go to their "Passwords" tab in OneNote to type in their login information. By doing this on their own, students develop responsibility, organizational skills, and digital literacy!
This program can be broken down into 3 parts: 1. Student Notebooks
Private notebook for each individual student
Only the teacher has access to everyone's notebooks
2. Content Library
Read-only
Place to upload handouts
3. Collaboration Space
Notebook that can be edited in real time
Collaborative
